The Buyer agrees to provide a life-long commitment, comfortable environment, prompt medical attention, proper grooming and responsible care.  This includes keeping this puppy parasite free, up to date with vaccinations, and providing proper nutrition and fresh water at all times.

 

The Buyer promises to provide a safe environment for the puppy and never allow the puppy to roam freely without proper fencing or supervision.  The Seller strongly recommends that the puppy is micro chipped in order to facilitate his/her return if lost or stolen.

The Seller guarantees this puppy to be a purebred pug of sound health and temperament at the time of this sale.  The Seller will provide a health record of all shots and/or worming. The Buyer agrees to take this puppy to a licensed veterinarian of their choice within 48 business hours for physical examination or all guarantees in this contract are void, no exceptions.  If the puppy is determined to be in ill health, the cause of which the Seller is clearly to blame.  The puppy may, upon a signed written diagnosis from said licensed veterinarian, be returned to the Seller.  

 

The Seller also guarantees to inform the buyer before final sale of any health issues (accidental or genetic) that the Seller becomes aware of during the time the puppy is in the Seller's care. The option of canceling the adoption and receiving a full refund of the deposit (this is the only time a deposit can be refunded) or discount will be offered to the Buyer.  The Seller will provide vet care for the puppy to treat any health issues before the final adoption fee is paid and the puppy picked up.  The Buyer is not responsible for any of these vet fees. If the Buyer wishes to continue with the adoption any relapses of the condition is the Buyer's full responsibility.  The Seller will provide records of any treatment given and any notes provided by the veterinarian on the condition, any chances it may be a chronic condition, possible side effects and/or any lifetime treatment/care that may be needed.  *Exception* Umbilical hernia is a common occurrence in puppies.  A small umbilical hernia will not affect or endanger the puppy’s health in any way and is not painful.  Some umbilical hernias are so small it will close on its own by the time the puppy is 6 months old. If it doesn’t close, it can be fixed easily at the same time the puppy is spayed or neutered for a small additional fee.  The Seller will notify the Buyer of a hernia and offer to refund the deposit to cancel adoption or a $50 discount to cover the additional fee. Umbilical hernia information is available anytime from the Seller.

ALL SALES ARE FINAL ONLY EXCHANGES WILL BE OFFERED.  the Buyer understands a puppy may not be available at the time of return and the exchange will be the first puppy available with the option of the pick of the litter.  The Seller assumes absolutely no responsibility for fees associated with caring for the puppy. No other guarantees are given.

If at any time the Buyer can no longer retain possession of this puppy,  The Seller is to be notified and given the first option of resuming full ownership of this puppy. in order for the Seller to locate this puppy a new home.  Exchanges, if any, will be at the discretion of the Seller. the puppy will be returned with all registration papers and medical records if applicable.

 

The Buyer agrees to contact the Seller immediately if any questions or concerns arise about the puppy, such as housing, diet, or health.  The Buyer agrees to keep the Seller informed of any treatment as it occurs. This provides the Seller with the opportunity to follow up on puppies and gives important feedback and information on the health of our puppies for future generations.

 

It is understood at the time of sale that this is a pet quality purebred dog and it is representative of the pug breed.  Training classes are highly recommended for the happy relationship between the puppy and family.

 

The Buyer has paid a non-refundable deposit      $         and the non-refundable balance is

The buyer will abide by the agreements contained herein for the duration of the puppy's life.

 

The Seller will have the right to enforce the agreements stated in this contract.
